OfficeStatus System Requirements

OfficeStatus is a software solution that you install and host within your organization. It has two installation packages - one for OfficeStatus Server, and the other for OfficeStatus Windows Client. These can be downloaded together or separately.

OfficeStatus Server

OfficeStatus Server requires a server-grade Windows operating system with Internet Information Services (included with the operating system) and the .NET Framework (v3.5 SP1 or later) installed.

Component Supported Versions
Windows Server OS Windows Server 2000, 2003 or 2008 - any edition - 32 or 64 bit.
Web Server Internet Information Services (IIS) - included with operating system.
.NET Framework Microsoft .NET Framework Version 3.5 Service Pack 1 (or later).
Database Server Included with the OfficeStatus Server installer - or use any edition of MS SQL Server (2000 SP4 or later) that your organization already has installed and running.
OfficeStatus Client (End User) Interfaces

OfficeStatus is accessible to end users through two powerful and flexible interfaces - a Windows desktop application and a web interface (the latter also supporting mobile users). The table below outlines the requirements for each of these.

Component Supported Versions
Windows (Desktop) Client Any version of Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP - 32 or 64 bit. The Microsoft .NET Framework (v2.0 or later) is also required, and will be installed automatically if not already present.
Web Interface Most modern desktop browsers - including MS Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, FireFox 2.0 or later, Google Chrome 2.0 or later, Opera 9.0 or later, and Safari 3.0 or later.
Mobile Web Interface Most modern mobile devices - including iOS (iPhone and iPad), Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 7, and newer Symbian devices. A minimum screen resolution of 240x320 is required.
