Outlook Calendar Synchronization
OfficeStatus provides the ability for users to synchronize their status schedules with their Outlook calendars, eliminating the need to maintain scheduling information in multiple places.

There are two methods of synchronization available: manual or automatic. The manual calendar sync method allows users to choose which Outlook appointments will be carried over to their OfficeStatus status schedule. The automatic calendar sync mode, on the other hand, runs entirely in the background - adding, updating, and removing entries from the user's status schedule as needed.

Calendar synchronization is performed through a "back-end" integration with Microsoft Exchange (2007 and later), so it can operate without users needing to actually run Outlook (or even be logged in to their workstations).
